SCOTLAND'S Transport Minister has given assurances that the railway line to Stranraer does have a future.
Stewart Stevenson arrived in the town by train on Wednesday for talks with the two Chambers of Commerce in Wigtownshire and the Stranraer to Ayr Line Support Association (SAYLSA).
