BARFORD — Peacefully at Newton Stewart Hospital, on Saturday, 9th November, 2019, Elizabeth Barford (Lily) née Briggs in her 87th year, of 26 Albert Street, Newton Stewart. Dear wife of Michael and cherished mother of Fhiona, Alan and the late Jimmy. Funeral service on Thursday, 21st November, 2019, at Penninghame St. Johns Church, Newton Stewart, at 11.00am. Thereafter private cremation. All friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please donations in lieu if desired to the Renal Unit at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary.

MCCORMICK, ELIZABETH — On the 9th November 2019, peacefully at Dumfries Infirmary, Elizabeth Wright McCormick, nee McCaulay, (Nana Betty), aged 87 years, of Wallamhill Road, Locharbriggs, beloved wife of Edward, much loved mother of Frances, Bill, Mark, Colin and Julie, and a loved nana and great nana. Service at Roucan Loch Crematorium on Tuesday 19th November at 11.00am. All friends are respectfully invited to attend. Family flowers only please, donations if desired can be given at the service for the Dementia Club (Gordon Street) in memory of Betty.
MCHARG – Peacefully at the Galloway Community Hospital, Stranraer on Saturday 9th November 2019, Alexander (Sid) McHarg aged 86 years, of “Doonholm” Auchendoon Gardens, Newton Stewart, a much loved husband of the late Elizabeth (Betty) McHarg, a loving brother and uncle of the family. Funeral on Friday 15th November 2019, service in Penninghame St.John's Church at 11.30 a.m. thereafter to Newton Stewart Cemetery, to which all friends are respectfully invited, family flowers only please donations in lieu if desired to the Cairnsmore Medical Practice, will be accepted on retiral from the service.
